Chartered Physiotherapists are involved in a huge range of care. Common complaints treated by Chartered Physiotherapists include:

  • Spinal problems - including prolapsed discs, degeneration, sciatica, lumbago, stiff/painful neck and referred arm and leg pains.
  • Joint problems - arthritis, injury, pain and swelling, stiffness in joints.

  • Chronic chest management and asthma care - We provide a service for patient suffering with Chronic Lung Disease such as COPD/ Chronic Bronchitis. Our Specialist Physiotherapist can help you in all matters of anxiety management, Chest clearance techniques, correct use of inhalers, breathing control and safe exercise prescription.
    We also offer a service for those suffering with Asthma in the correct management of this condition, with our specialist Asthma Care Physiotherapist.
  • Neurological conditions - such as strokes, head injuries, nerve injuries, multiple sclerosis, shingles, cerebral palsy and ME.
  • CFS/M.E. (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) & Fibromyalgia - Diagnosed and treated in accordance with the Perrin Technique via lymphatic system drainage, spinal mobilisations and cranial release techniques.   • Traditional chinese acupuncture - Good for pain relief both acute and chronic, management of headaches back, neck and joint pain, stress relief, muscular problems. Valuable for all health related conditions including irritable bowel, infertility and support through assisted conception IUI/IVF. Gynaecological problems, allergies, weight loss programmes, smoking cessation. All health issues considered for treatment.
  • Councelling - We have two counsellors available in the clinic specialising in Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Bereavements, Relationship issues, Anger Management and Behavioural issues. All matters are dealt with the up most sensitivity and strict confidentiality.
  • Aromatherapy - A relaxing massage with the use of specific aromatherapy oils tailored to you health needs.

Physiotherapists will not only treat the problem but by spending time with the patient will often be able to show the patient how to help prevent the problem happening again.
